Stephenville, Texas
September 10, 1962.
The City Council met in called meeting on this date with MayorPho -Tem Graves
presiding and the following councilmen present: I. D. Reynolds,'Wm. 0. Croft, Raymond
Anderson, W. H. Stem and Harlan Huey.
It was moved by Councilman Huey, seconded by Councilman Stem, to adopt an ordin-
ance making a part of the City of Stephenville land adjacent to said City and out of
the Matthew Roberts Survey, the J. B. Dupuy (north) Survey, the H. C. Hudson Survey
and the Wm. Motley Survey, all of which land adjoins the present City Limits of the
City of Stephenville and which ordinance describes: said land by metes and bounds.
Motion carried. (Said ordinance being attached to and becoming a part of these min-
utes.)
It was moved by Councilman Croft, seconded by Councilman Huey, to adopt the
following resolution. Motion carried.
RESOLUTION
RESOLVED, that the Mayor, J. Louis Evans, be and he is hereby authorized to
complete a loan from the Stephenville State Bank of Stephenville, Texas, in the
principal sum of $6500.00 for the City of Stephenville and to execute to said bank
a note in the name of the City of Stephenville in this amount, bearing interest
from the date at the rate of 4 percent per annum, with the principal of said note
being payable in monthly installments of $300.00 each, the first installment on or
before the 10th day of each month thereafter until said note is paid; interest on
said none shall be payable monthly as it accrues on the same dates as the install-
ments of principal and in addition thereto; and which note shall be attested by
the City Secretary.
There being no other business at this time, the Council stood adjourned subject
r to the Mayor's call.
