The City Council met in a called meeting on the above date with Mayor Arthur presiding and the following councilmen present: Robert Herrin, Roy Swain, Chas. Riggins, Telefus B. Cawyer and Mrs. Fred McCleskey. The Mayor explained the purpose of the meeting was to discuss with Mr. Taber and Mfr. Whiteside the relocation of some of the wiring on the City Automatic Water Control System. Mr. Taber explained that in order to comply with National Safety Code in installing the TV Cable system it will be necessary to move some of the wiring w hich controls the Water Distribution System. In most cases this will involve moving the wires up or down the pole a short distance. Mr. Taber also stated his company can move the necessary wire, at a minimum of expense, but feels that if this is done his company could be blamed in case of future failure of the system. Mr. Taber has contacted the City Electric Company and finds they will move the wiring for #5.00 per pole and $8.00 per dead end con- nection, this would cost approximately $1000.00. Mr. Taber feels this can be done for less by his employees and naturally is interested in making the necessary changes at minimum expense. It was moved by Councilman Cawyer, seconded by Councilman Swain, that R. Y. Gann supervise this moving of wiring of the City Automatic Cohtrol System and an employee of City Electric serve as inspector, also the line to be moved at no ex- pense to the City of tephenville. Motion carried unanimously. Upon motion and second, the Council stood adjourned "ject to the Mayor's call. A TT Secretary
