The City Council met in a called meeting on the above date with Mayor Arthur presiding and the following Councilmen present: Robert Herrin, Mrs. Doyle white, Roy Swain, Bill Christian, Telefus B. Cawyer and Mrs. Fred McCleskey. It was moved by Councilman Christian, seconded by Councilman Swain, that the following notice be published: 34 Notice Of Intention to Issue Refunding Bonds: Notice is hereby given that on the 7th day of December, 1965, the City j Council of the City of Stephenville, Texas, will pass an Ordinance authoriz -1 ing the issuance of Refunding Bonds, in the amount of $274,000.00, bearing 3 interest at &.gate not to exceed 4% per annum, maturing serially in such in- stallments and during such years as may be determined by the City Council, the maximum maturity of final maturity to be not later than 1981, for the pur- pose of taking up, cancelling, refunding and in lieu of a like amount of interest bearing time warrants described as follows: City of Stephenville Water Works Improvement Warrants, Series 196, dated September 1, 1964, numbered 1 through 274, in the aggregate amount of 274,000.00, bearing interest at the rate of 4 374 % per annum and maturing serially on Septem- ber 1, in each of the years 1971 through 1973, and 1975 through 1981. Mtion for the above carried unanimously. o The Mayor reported that a representative of a firm from Austin has requested to appear before the Council on October 29th to explain their version of the nec- essary action to take to develop a Master Plan. The Mayor also reported that he and Chas. Neblett plan to give the City an alley in Block 60 City Addition, and would like for the Council to consider the acceptance of such alley. call.
