The City Council met in a called meeting on the above date with Mayor Skipper
presiding and the following Councilmen present: Robert Herrin, Don Metsgar,
Garland Loudermilk, Doug Smithey, Jack Curtis, Toby Stone, and Mrs. Fred Mc-
Cleskey.
Mr. George Fagan and David Dennison appeared before the council and presented
a summary report of the Comprehensive City Plan. Mr. Fagan expressed appreciation
to the City Planning Commission for their help in preparing the city plan.
It was moved by Councilman Loudermilk seconded by Councilwoman McCleskey to
transfer $15,000. from City Sales Tax Fund to City Water Works Improvement
Warrants 1970. Motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Councilman Curtis seconded by Councilman Stone to approve
the Community Shelter Plan and to request assistance by the State in preparing
the plan. Motion carried unanimously.
There being no other business at this time the council stood adjourned, subject
to the Mayor's call.
