MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE
CITY OF STEPHENVILLE, TEXAS, HELD ON
SEPTEMBER 10, 1981 - 7:00 P.M.
A Special Session of the City Council of the City of Stephenville,
Texas, was called to order by the Mayor with the following members present:
Mayor Joe F. Cummings Councilman E. W. Ferguson
Councilman G. A. Swindle Councilman Larry Hammett
Councilman W. M. Irwin
Councilman William G. Brede
with the following members absent: Councilmen Charles Riggins and Raymond
Anderson.and David Clayton.
City Administrator Kurt Ackermann and Betty Chew, acting as
City Secretary and Director of Finance Charlene Young were present.
Mayor Cummings called the meeting to order and explained the
purpose of this meeting was a public hearing regarding the increase in
taxation in the City of Stephenville.
Mayor Cummings opened the public hearing regarding the increase
in taxation in the City of Stephenville.
There being no one present desiring to be heard, Mayor Cummings
closed the public hearing and adjourned the meeting at 7:15 p.m.
