MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE
CITY OF STEPHENVILLE, TEXAS, HELD ON
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 16, 1982 - 3:00 P.M.
A called session of the City Council of the City of Stephenville,
Texas, was called to order by the Mayor Pro Tem with the following members
present:
Mayor Pro Tem G. A. Swindle
Councilman William G. Brede
Councilman Charles Riggins
and with the following members absent:
John E. Pollan and Ray Reynolds.
Councilman Raymond Anderson
Councilman E. W. Ferguson
Councilman David Clayton
Mayor Joe F. Cummings, Councilmen
City Administrator Kurt J. Ackermann, City Secretary Joyce Pemberton,
City Attorney Joseph Chandler, Director of Public Works R. Y. Gann, and
Kenneth Currier were present.
ITEM I: TO CONSIDER ACCEPTANCE OF
ALE AVENUE
Director of Public Works R. Y. Gann advised the Council that he had
reviewed this plat and it does meet the Subdivision Ordinance requirements
and he recommends acceptance of this Final Plat.
Councilman Clayton moved acceptance of the Final Plat of the Dale
Avenue North Subdivision, Phase II, as recommended by Mr. Gann. Council-
man Ferguson seconded the motion. The motion carried by the following
vote:
AYES: All members present voted aye
Noes: None
ITEM II: TO
FROM KENNETH CURRIE
Councilman Riggins,moved acceptance of a petition from Kenneth
Currier to annex a 4.10 acre tract of land out of the William Motley
Survey, Abst.No 515, situated in Erath County, Texas, and adjoining
the city limits of Stephenville, Texas. Councilman Brede seconded the
motion. The motion carried by the following vote:
AYES; All members present voted aye.
NOES; None
There being no other business to come before the Council, the
meeting adjourned at 3:20 p.m.
