MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE
CITY OF STEPHENVILLE, TEXAS, HELD ON
WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 11, 1982 - 1:00 P.M.
A special session of the City Council of the City of Stephenville,
Texas, was called to order by the Mayor with the following members present:
Mayor Joe F. Cummings Councilman Raymond Anderson
Councilman John Pollan Councilman E. W. Ferguson
Councilman William G. Brede Councilman Ray Reynolds
Councilman Charles Riggins
and with the following members absent: Councilmen G. A. Swindle, and
David Clayton.
City Administrator Kurt J. Ackermann, City Secretary Joyce Pemberton,
Director of Finance Charlene Young were also present.

C HEARING TO CONSIDER
After some discussion, Mayor Cummings, with the consent of the
Council, set Tuesday, September 7, 1982 at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers
at City Hall, 354 N. Belknap St., Stephenville, Texas, as the date, time,
and place for a public hearing to consider the following zoning changes
as recommended by the City Planning & Zoning Commission:
a. From R -1 to B -1; Lot lb -1, Block 140, City Addition.
b. From R -1 to B -1: Lots 4,6,10,22,13, Block 145, City Addition.
C. From Industrial to B -4: Lot 9, Block 156, City Addition.
The Council went into a budget work session with no action taken.
The meeting adjourned at 4:30 p.m.
