OF THE
CITY OF STEPHENVILLE, TEXAS, HELD ON
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 21, 1984 - 10:00 A.M.
A special meeting of the City Council of the City of
Stephenville, Texas, was called to order by the Mayor with the
following members present:
Mayor: David Clayton
Councilmembers: Larry Hammett
Charles Riggins
Larry Tatum
William G. Brede
and with the following members absent: G. A. Swindle, James L.
McSwain, and Ray Reynolds.
City Administrator Kurt J. Ackermann, City Secretary Joyce
Pemberton, and P & I Clerk Betty Chew.
ITEM I: HEAR RECOMMENDATIONS FROM PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION.
Betty Chew presented the following recommendations from the
Planning & Zoning Commission:
1. A favorable recommendation to rezone, from R -1
"One- Family Dwelling District" to R -2 "Duplex and
Apartment District ", Lots 17A and 17B, Block 139, City
Addition, known as 211 N. Dale Avenue.
2. A favorable recommendation to rezone, from R -1
"One- Family Dwelling District" to R -2 "Duplex and
Apartment District ", 5.72 acres of the Henry Pearson
Survey, Abst. 515, Erath County, Texas, known as 200
Bosque Road.
After some discussion, Mayor Clayton, with the consent of
the Council, set Tuesday, January 8, 1985 at 7:00 p.m. in Council
Chambers in City Hall, 354 N. Belknap Street, as the date, time,
and place for a public hearing to consider the above recommen-
dations.
There being no other business to come before the Council,
Mayor Clayton adjourned the meeting at 10:30 a.m.
