CITY OF STEPHENVILLE, HELD ON
MONDAY, APRIL 7, 1986 - 5:00 P.M.
An emergency called meeting of the City Council of the City of
Stephenville, Texas, was called to order by the Mayor Pro Tem with the
following members present:
Mayor:
Mayor Pro Tem: Ray Reynolds Wm. G. Brede
Councilmembers: Bob Self G.A. (Pinkie) Swindle
Larry Hammett James L. McSwain
Allen Horne Larry Tatum
and with the following members absent: Mayor David Clayton
City Administrator Kurt Ackermann and City Secretary Joyce Pemberton
were also present.
OF CITY GENERAL ELECTION HELD
Mayor Pro Tem Ray Reynolds stated the purpose of this
meeting was to canvass the election returns of the City
General Election held on April 5, 1986 for the purpose of
electing four (4) councilmembers and a mayor.
Mayor Pro Tem Reynolds appointed Councilmembers Bob Self,
chairman, Allen Horne, and Jim McSwain as the Canvassing
Committee.

Councilman Pinkie Swindle moved acceptance of the
Canvassing Committee's report as read. Councilman Allen
Horne seconded the motion. The motion carried by the
following vote:
AYES: All members present voted aye.
NOES: None
City Secretary Joyce Pemberton presented each candidate
present with a Certificate of Election and gave them the
oath of office. (Mayor David Clayton was absent).
There being no other business to come before the Council, Mayor Pro
Tem Ray Reynolds adjourned the meeting.

ORDINANCE NO'. '1986` =7
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING PARKING AT ANY TIME ON EITHER SIDE OF
BOSQUE ROAD STREET FROM ITS INTERSECTION WITH U. S. HIGHWAY 377
TO ITS INTERSECTION WITH BOB WHITE ROAD STREET AND PROVIDING
PENALTY FOR ITS VIOLATION.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STEPHENVILLE:
Section One
It shall be unlawful for any person to park any vehicle at
any time on Bosque Road Street from its intersection with U. S.
Highway 377 to its intersection with Bob White Road Street.
Section Two
Any person who is guilty of violating this ordinance shall
be fined in any sum not to exceed $200.00.
Section Three
This ordinance shall go into effect immediately from and
after its passage and publication as provided by law.
