Stephenville, Texas, held at the City Hall of said City, on the
7th day of September, 1943, there came on to be considered by the
City Council the tax rate and levy of taxes for the year 19430
and after discussion there was intanduobd in the Council the
following ordinance, to wit:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
STEPHENVILLE.. TEXAS:
That the tax rate in said City for the year 1943 is hereby
fixed at and cents on the $100.00 valuation of all ta:
able prop
e4rsitued within the limits of said City*
That there is hereby levied upon all taxable property withinl',
the limits of said City and sub eot to taxation therein for the f
year 1943, a tax of / andcents on the $100.00 valuation ofl
all of said property, -Taw ch V`ax -as hereby levied shall be oolleo-i
ted as is provided by law and the ordinance of said City, and
which tax is hereby apportioned to the various funds of the City j
as follows:

motion was put to a vote and the Council voted unanimously in
favor of the passage or said ordinance, and said ordinance is
therefore declared to be in full force and effect from and after
this date.
