February 2, 1943.
The City Council of Stephenville, Texas, met in regular
session on the above date, with Mayor J. W. Clements presiding an
the following aldermen present: T. R. Moore, Leonard Fenner, C. 4..
Martin, Fred McCloskey, Bras Cole, Reecie Jones and C. A. McDonall.
Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.
It was moved by C. E. Martin, seconded by Bras Cole, that
City dig a well and erect an electric pump on same at the Securer
Farm. Motion carried.
It was moved by T. R. Moore, seconded by Leonard Fenner, that
a street light be placed at the corner of Floral and Viashington
streets. Motion carried.
It was moved by C. A. McDonald, seconded by Leonard Fenner,
that the following salaries be raised:
Price Jackson raised to g90.00 per month.
Clint Roberts " it �60.00 per month.
Both effective as of January 1, 1943. The motion was carried.
It was moved by T. R. Moore, seconded by Reecie Jones, that',]
the Street Committee be allowed the authority to.gravel some of
the most traveled streets. Motion carried.

Bills and accounts were read and on a motion by C. A. No -
Donald, seconded by Leonard Fenner, were allowed and ordered paid"
There being no other business at this time, the Council stood
adjourned in an adjourned regular meeting, subject to the Mayorls'„
call.
