Derember 21, 1941.
The City Council of the City of Stephenville, Texas, met in
n adjourned regular meeting on December 21, 1941, with Yayor
. C. Clements presiding, and the following Aldermen attending:
. A. McDonald, Doyle White, Fred YcCleskey, L. Riggins, Dan
oodgame, Chas. Neblett Jr•., and Dan Lane.
The Mayor stated that the purpose of the meeting was to hire
two fire truck drivers.
Mr. C. A. McDonald, Chairman of the Fire Committee, stated
hat he had hired Roy filler as fire truck driver at a salary of
90.00 per month, with the approval of the Council. It was moved
y Chas. Neblett Jr., seconded by Doyle White, thp.t the Council
pprove Yr. Viller's salary of $90.00 per month, and that the Fir(
ommittee make a deal with Chas. Ross as fire truck driver at the
ane salary. Yotion carried.
It was moved by C. A. VcDonald, seconded by L. Higgins, that
all uniform city employee be required to buy their own uniforms,
however, the City would be glad to buy all or a part of a uniform
and hold the purchase price out of the employee's next salary
check. Yotion carried.
It v,as roved by Fred FeCleskey, seconded by C. A. McDonald,

ach per month, with an allowance of 415.00 each per month in
asoline, and *hat Frank Henson salary remain $110.00 per month
ith an allowance of �p10.00 per month in gasoline. These raises
o be effective as of January 1, 1942. Notion carried.
It was moved by Dan Lane, seconded by Doyle White, that 0. B
ser salary be raised to $85.00 per month effective January 1,
. Motion carried.
Jack Henderson, City Secretary, was asked to leave the room
a few minutes at this time.
on motion by Doyle 1hite, seconded by Fred McCleskey, the
ollowing city employees salaries were raised as stated below:
J. P. Anderson --------------- $150.00 per month.
ayne Rodman----------------- 22.50 per week.
17. C. Butler----------------- 22.50 per week.
Blanche Davis---------------- 67.50 per month.
Rich Fagan------------------- 67.50 per month.
Jack Henderson--------------- 70.00 par month.
These raises effective as of January 1, 1942.
