City of Stephenville, Texas, met in
on October 31, 1941, at 9:30 A. M.
J. W. Clements presiding, and the
Dan Lane, L. Riggins, C. A. McDonald;
Jr., Fred McCleskey, and Doyle Vwhite.;,
The Mayor stated that the purpose of the meeting was to con
sider a fire truck driver to replace Roy Miller, due to his res-
ignation effective November 1, 1941. On discussion, it was sug-
gested by Fred McCleskey that Buster Gahite, now assistant driver,;',
relieve Roy Miller Saturday morning, November 1, until Tuesday
night, a regular meeting oC the City Council. Having no objec-
tions, the Mayor ask the Fire Committe and the Law and Order
Committee to work_ this matter out.
There being no further business at this time, the Council
!'stood adjourned in an adjourned regular meeting, subject to the
Mayor's call. (�
