Tiotice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of
.Stephenville, Texas, will receive sealed proposals for the custodl
of the City Funds of said City, -from any banking corporation,asso
ciation or individual bankers doing business within the City of
Stephenville. All banking corporations, associations or individ-
ual bankers desiring to be selected as the depository of the fund4
of said city shall file their sealed bids with C. C. Davis, City 7
secretary, on or before the 5th day of <.ugust, 1911, a sealed
proposal, stating the rate per cent upon daily balance that such 1
bidder offers to pay to the City for the privilege of being made
the depository of the funds of the City for the next year follow-'
ing the date above :mentioned.
All such p roposals shall be securely kept by the City Sec-
retary and shall not be opened until the 5th day of August, 1941,,'
at which time the City Council of said City shall meet for the
purpose of passing upon the sane, and no proposals will be re-
ceived by the City after such sealed bids have been opened. The
City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

by the City Secretary for a period of one week before such meetint
in some newspaper in the City of Stephenville.
