AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING RANDY THOMAS, CITY ATTORNEY, TO FILE
PROCEEDINGS TO CONDEMN AND ACQUIRE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF
STEPHENVILLE AN EASEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION, RECONSTRUCTION AND
tv-\ MAINTENANCE OF A SANITARY SEWER LINE ON AND ACROSS A TRACT OR
PARCEL OF LAND SITUATED IN LOTS 3 AND 4, BLOCK 73, CITY OF
STEPHENVILLE, IN ERATH COUNTY, TEXAS, AND TO ACQUIRE AN
ADDITIONAL TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT CONTIGUOUS TO THE
PERMANENT EASEMENT AGAINST H. A. RAMSAY, THE OWNER OF SAID
LAND, AND TO PROSECUTE SAID CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS IN THE
MANNER PRESCRIBED BY LAW.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STEPHENVILLE:
The City of Stephenville requiring an easement for public
purposes and having failed to agree with the owner upon the
damages and consideration to be paid and given to H. A. RAMSAY,
the owner, for easement for sanitary sewer line on the
following described land:
Attached hereto as EXHIBIT "A"
RANDY THOMAS, City Attorney, is hereby authorized on
behalf of the City of Stephenville to file proceedings to
condemn the above described land for purposes of such easement
and to acquire an additional temporary construction easement
contiguous to the permanent easement such suit to be against H.
A. Ramsay, owner of said land and to prosecute condemnation
proceeding in the manner prescribed by law.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 10th day of November, 1992.

30' SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT
PARCEL NO. 14
DESCRIPTION
BEING all that certain tract or parcel of land situated in Lots 3 and 4, Block 73, City of
Stephenville, Erath County, Texas, according to King's 1956 Map of the City of Stephenville,
recorded in Volume 381, Page 105 of the Deed Records of Erath County, Texas, said tract
being a part of a 6.11 acre tract and a 0.629 acre tract of land described in deeds to H. A.
Ramsay, recorded in Volume 407, Page 590 and Volume 530, Page 59 of the Deed Records
of Erath County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the east line of Alexander Road, being N 30129'00" W, 249.66
feet from the most southerly corner of said 0.629 acre tract;
THENCE N 30029'00" W, with said east line, 30.03 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE N 62012'41" E, 293.64 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE S 76039'57" E, 56.31 feet to a point on the northeasterly line of said 6.11 acre
tract;
THENCE S 30049'31" E, with said northeasterly line, 41.82 feet to a point for comer;
THENCE N 76039'57" W, 74.19 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE S 6V12'41" W, 280.97 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 10,577
square feet or 0.431 acres of land, more or less.
Accompanying the above described 30 foot wide sanitary sewer easement are two (2) 35 foot
wide Temporary Construction Easements, said 35 foot wide Temporary Construction
Easements being parallel and contiguous to each side of the above described 30 foot wide
Sanitary Sewer Easement.
