PAID THE OFFICERS AND CHARGED AS
COSTS IN CRIMINAL CASES DISPOSED
OF BY THE CORPORATION COURT OF THE
CITY OF STEPHENVILLE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STEPHENVILLE:
That there shall be taxed as costs in all cases filed and
in which convictions are had in the corporation court of the
City of Stephenville, the following fees:
Clerk of the Corporation Court --------------- 41.75
Recorder------------------------------------- 2.50
City Attorney, on plea of not guilty --------- 10.00
City Attorney, on plea of guilty------------- 5.00
Chief of Policy:
Arrest ------------ 42.00
Release----------- 1.00
Bond-------------- 1.50
Summoning Jury---- 1.00
Total --------------------- %i5.50
Six Jurors, 40.50 each----------------------- 3.00
In all cases which are contested by the defendant, all
additional fees and costs which would accrue if such cases were
tried in the Justice Court shall accrue in any such cause tried
in the Corporation Court of the City of Stephenville and upon a
conviction, such fees and costs shall be taxed as costs and
assessed against the defendant
This ordinance shall be effective from and after its
passage.
