STEPHENVILLE SHALL BE DESIGNATED AS AVENUES AND THOSE
RUNNING IN THE GENERAL DIRECTION OF EAST °.ND 7ECT SHALL
BE DESIGNATED AS STREETS.
BE IT ORDAI_ED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
STEPHENVILLE:
SECTION"1.
That henceforth, all public thoroughfares in the City of
Stephenville running in the general direction of north and south
shall be'designated and Ynown as avenues and all public thorough-
fares running in the general direction of east and west shall be
designated and known as streets.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be effective from and after its passage.,
Passed and enacted this %Q day of September, 1939.
