At a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Stephenville, Texas held at the City Hall of said city, on the
a day of , 1939, there came on to be
considered by the City Councile tax rate and levy of taxes
for the year 1939, and after discussion there was introduced in
the Council the following ordinance, to -wit:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
STEPHENVILLE, TEXAS:
That the tax rate in said City for the year 1939 is hereby
fixed at 9 o and D L'e� on the $100.00 valuation of
all taxable property si ua e within the limits of said city.
That there is hereby levied upon all taxable property with-
in the limits of said city and subject to taxation therein for
the year 1939, a tax of w' 1490 and 'o CegAs on the 0100.00 val-
uation of all of said property, whic tax as hereby levied shall';
be collected as is provided by law and the ordinance of sAid City
and which tax is hereby apportioned to the various funds of the
City as follows:
