The City Council of TheCity of Stephenville met in
stfmifflod regular meeting and the Council further con-
sidered the proposition of Chas. S. Long to purchase
the South one-half of Block No. 15 of the original
town of Stephenville and it Was moved by Alderman
C gsi he�le'Xi-Jr that the Honorable Henry
Clark, Mayor of the City of Stephenville be authorized
and directed to execute a general warranty deed con-
veying said property to the said Chas. S. Long for the
cash consideration of NINE HUNDRED NINTY NINE ($999.00)
DOLLARS and that said deed when executed be placed in
escrow by the Mayor of the City of Stephenville in the
BANK of
Stephenville.. Texas and that the Mayor of the City of
Stephenville deliver said deed to the said Chas. S.
Long upon the payment of the consideration. Said deed
shall provide for the reservation and dedication to
public use of an alley twelve (12) feet wide between the
South one-half and the North one-half of said Block 15,
six (6) feet of said alley to be taken off the South one-
half and six (6) feet off the North one-half of said Block
and said alley shall be for the use and benefit of the
owners of said Block. All other ordinanoesand resolut-
ions in conflict with this resolution are hereby repealed.
