April 19, 1938.
The City Council of Stephenville met in call session on the
e date, with the following members present: Mayor Clark, R. B
el, Chas. Reblett Jr., K. D. Hamilton, Goo. Minter, H. D. Barhm,
J. C. Holcomb.
Mayor Clark stated that the purpose of the meeting was to he
e Finanoe Committee report on @souring building site for Recrea
11 and Swimming Pool. Geo. Minter, Chairman, reported that Mar
os. property could be bought for $4500,00, the Jenks property a
300.00, and the north half of the Byrd property at $2000.00, al
e Mrs. J. W. Moss property was being oonsidered, but no price h
on seemed to date.
After discussion of the various locations, adjournment was ha# to
April 20, 1938, for further consideration of the several locations
to get prices on the Moss property
