February 23, 1938.
The City Council of Stephenville, Texas, met in an adjourned
regular meeting on the above date, with the following members
present: Mayor Clark, Aldermen C. L. Cromwell, J. C. Holcomb,
T. T. Oliver, K. D. Hamilton, R. B. Bassel, and Geo: Minter.
Mayor Clark stated the purpose of the meeting was to hear
the High School Band Uniform Committee in regard to raising funds
to finish paying for uniforms. After hearing the committee, motto#
was made by T. T. Oliver, seconded by Geo. Minter, that the City
Council donate $250.00 to the committee for the above stated
purpose,. Motion carried.
There being no further business, the Council) stood djourned.
