Blakeney, and Georg Stephenville, Texas January 4, 1938. e the City of Stephenville met in regular with Mayor Henry Clark and the follow- D. Hamilton, R. B. Bassel, C. L. Cromwe Minter. Minutes of last meeting were read and approved. The matter of putting a water line under the railroad on N. Belknap Street was discussed, after which a motion was made by C. L. Cromwell, seconded by K. D. Hamilton, that the City have. N. H. Anderson proceed with this work and put the water line under the railroad. Motion carried. A motion was made by C. L. Cromwell, seconded by J. 0. Blak-'; eney, that the City Attorpsyydraw a petition asking for an election to be held for the purpose of voting bonds to erect a water softn'r plant in the City. Motion carried. The repignation of W. C. Ingley as nightwatehman was read and accepted. Several applications for the nightwatchman job were read,andl after a vote was taken, George Williams was elected watchman. A motion was made by K. D. Hamilton, seconded by C. that the services of Mrs. Ploy Young be dispensed with on 81 1938. Motion carried. Bills and accounts were read, and seconded by R. B.
