came on to be considered bjr e y Council tax rate and
levy of taxes for the year 1937, and after discussion there was
introduced in the Council the following ordinance, to -wit:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
STEPHENVILL TEXAS:
That the tax rate in said Cit for the year 1937 is hereby
fixed at arjp Lie/� and " on the $100,00
valuation oo 'all axa a Yroperty situated in the limits of
said City.
That there is hereby leved upon all taxable property within,
the limits of said City and subject to taxation therein for the it
ear 1937 a tax of C24ce f b/ Zr and ;Z& j7 � on the
100.00 valuation or all or aid property, wrillch tax as hereby
levied shall be collected as in provided by law and the ordinanc6
of said City and which tax is hereby apportioned to the various
funds of the City as Follows:

That this ordinance be in full force and effect from and
after its passage.
It was moved by Alderman C� seconded by
Alderman /3� SSP� that ordinance do p after
futher discussion the question was called for and the motion
was put to a vote and the Council voted unanimously in favor of
the passage of said ordinance, and said ordinance is therefore
declared to be in full force and effect from and after this date,;.
