November 12, 1936.
The City Council of the City of Stephenville, Texas, met in
an adjourned regular meeting on the above date, with Mayor Clark
and the following Aldermen present: R. B. Bassel, C. L. Cromwell..
J. C. Holcomb, J. 0. Blakeney, and Geo. Minter.
The contract of Wyatt C. Hedrick, Architect for Recreation
Building, etc., was read. After discussion, motion was made by
C. L. Cromwell, seconded by J. 0. Blakeney, that the contract of
IMr. Hedrick be accepted and approved. Motion duly carried.
Mr. W. P. Pittman came before the Council asking that the
City have the Southwest Gas Company to extend gas to such houses
as now owned by Mr. Pittman. Motion was made by R. B. Bassel, 9
seconded by C. L. Cromwell, that the Council affirm action of
the Gas Committee in regard to having gas extended to Mr. Pittmanlp
property. Motion carried.
The Council then stood adjourned in an adjourned regular
meeting, subject to the Mayor's call.
