MINUTES OF COUNCIL WORK SESSION
City of Stephenville - City Council
Thursday, November 9, 2017, 5:30 P.M.
The City Council of the City of Stephenville, Texas, convened on November 9, 2017, at 5:30 p.m.,
in the Training Room at City Hall, 298 West Washington Street, for the purpose of a Council Work Session,
with the meeting being open to the public and notice of said meeting, giving the date, time, place and
subject thereof, having been posted as prescribed by Chapter 551, Government Code, Vernon's Texas
Codes Annotated, with the following members present, to wit:

Council Work Session
I. Call to Order
Mayor Weldon called the work session to order at 5:30.
II. Sign Ordinance
Council addressed changes they would like to see made to the draft sign ordinance. Jeremy Allen,
Deputy City Administrator/Planning and Building Services Director, will make the requested
changes and bring the new draft to council to review before final approval.
III. Subdivision Ordinance
Dan Sefko, Freese and Nichols, Inc., was present to answer any questions regarding the draft
subdivision ordinance. Council will review the ordinance and submit any comments to Jeremy
Allen. Mayor Weldon suggested that once the ordinance has been finalized, a 30-day public
review period take place prior to passing the ordinance.
IV. Pavement Management Projects
Gene Calvert, PE, City Engineer, presented the council with information regarding the pavement
projects for the upcoming fiscal year.
V. Adjourn
The work session was adjourned at 8:08 p.m.
