MINUTES OF SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
City of Stephenville - City Council
Monday, August 14, 2017, 5:30 P.M.
The City Council of the City of Stephenville, Texas, convened on August 14, 2017, at 5:30 p.m., in the
Training Room at City Hall, 298 West Washington Street, for the purpose of a Special Council Meeting,
with the meeting being open to the public and notice of said meeting, giving the date, time, place and
subject thereof, having been posted as prescribed by Chapter 551, Government Code, Vernon's Texas
Codes Annotated, with the following members present, to wit:

Call to Order
Mayor Weldon called the meeting to order at 5:32 p.m.
II. Approve Resolution No. 2017-R-22 Designating the Authorized Official for the Body -Worn
Camera and Storage Grant
MOTION by Carla Trussell, second by Sherry Zachery to approve Resolution No. 2017-R-22.
MOTION CARRIED by unanimous vote.
III. Monthly Budget Report
Monica Harris, Director of Finance, delivered the monthly budget report to the council. No
action required.
IV. EXECUTIVE SESSION. In compliance with the provisions of the Texas Open Meetings Law,
Subchapter D, Government Code, Vernon's Texas Codes, Annotated, in accordance with:
1. Section 551.087 -Deliberations Regarding Economic Development Negotiations
a. Project Summer
b. Project X
V. Action taken on items discussed in executive session (if necessary)
No action was taken.
