City Council Work Session
TE*AS Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 5:30 PM
The City Council of the City of Stephenville, Texas, convened on Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at 5:30 PM, in the
Training Room at City Hall, 298 West Washington Street, for the purpose of a City Council Work Session,
with the meeting being open to the public and notice of said meeting, giving the date, time, place and
subject thereof, having been posted as prescribed by Chapter 551, Government Code, Vernon's Texas Codes
Annotated, with the following members present, to wit:
COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Doug Svien
Council Member Mark McClinton
Council Member Carla Trussell
Council Member Nick Robinson
Mayor Pro Tern Brady Pendleton
Council Member Ricky Thurman
Council Member Alan Nix
Council Member Gerald Cook

OTHERS ATTENDING: Allen L. Barnes, City Manager

Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 5:30 p.m.
II. FY 2019-2020 BUDGET DISCUSSIONS
Allen Barnes, City Manager, and Monica Harris, Director of Finance, gave council an update and
overview of the FY2019-2020 proposed budget.
III. EXECUTIVE SESSION
In compliance with the provisions of the Texas Open Meetings Law, Subchapter D, Government
Code, Vernon's Texas Codes, Annotated, in accordance with
1. Section 551.072 Deliberation Regarding Real Property
The meeting was called into executive session at 6:00 p.m.
IV. ACTION TAKEN ON ITEMS DISCUSSED IN EXECUTIVE SESSION (IF NECESSARY)
No action was taken.
V. Adjourn
The meeting was adjourned at 6:15 p.m.
