City Council Work Session
Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 5:30 PM
The City Council of the City of Stephenville, Texas, convened on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at 5:47 PM, in the
Training Room at City Hall, 298 West Washington Street, for the purpose of a City Council Work Session,
with the meeting being open to the public and notice of said meeting, giving the date, time, place and
subject thereof, having been posted as prescribed by Chapter 551, Government Code, Vernon's Texas Codes
Annotated, with the following members present, to wit:

I. Call to Order
71 The mayor called the work session to order at 5:47 p.m.
II. City Facilities Feasibility Study
Ron Hobbs, Hobbs Architecture, met with the city council to discuss the goals and objectives for
the facility feasibility study that is currently kicking off. The study will review and analyze all of the
city's current facilities. The consultant will survey staff, meet with individual staff members, and
interview council to get a deep understanding of the current constraints and challenges. The firm
will complete on -site reviews of all facilities, compile their initial data for staff review, and create
a report that will provide valuable insight into the potential uses for the city's facilities today and
in the future. The report will also provide information regarding which facilities will require
extensive renovation and remodel to be viable and which facility needs would be met by building
a new facility for a more economical investment. This process will be inclusive and comprehensive
to ensure that the city can strategically address the maintenance and enhancement of our
facilities and assets. No action needs to be taken at this time.
