AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF STEPHENVILLE, CHAPTER
150.08 (B), AMENDMENTS, ADDITIONS, AND DELETIONS TO THE INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE, 2006
EDITION, BY DELETING AMENDMENT 903.2.10.6 ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE 2008-05 PASSED MARCH 4,
2008 FROM THE INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE REGIONAL AMENDMENTS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STEPHENVILLE, TEXAS:
Section One
This ordinance is amended by deleting the following section:
Section 903.2.10.6 Buildings Over 6,000 sq.ft. An automatic sprinkler system shall be installed
throughout all buildings with a building area over 6,000 sq.ft. For the purpose of this provision, firewalls
shall not define separate buildings.
Exceptions:
1. Open parking garages in compliance with Section 406.3 of the International Building
Code.
2. Type A-5.
Section Two
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after July 7, 2015.
PASSED and APPROVED by the City Council of the City of Stephenville, Texas, this 7th day of July, 2015.
