City of Stephenville - City Council
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 1996 - 6:30 P.M.
The City Council of the City of Stephenville, Texas, convened on November 5, 1996, at 6 : 3 0
p.m., in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 354 N. Belknap Street, for the purpose of a Citizens
General Discussion Meeting, with the meeting being open to the public and notice of said meeting,
giving the date, time, place and subject thereof, having been posted as prescribed by Chapter 551,
Government Code, Vernon's Texas Codes Annotated, with the following members present, to wit:

Mayor Pollan called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. and declared a quorum present.
11 CITIZENS GENERAL DISCUSSION
Beth Leschper, Public Relations Director for the Stephenville Independent School
District, requested Mayor Pollan to sign a proclamation recognizing November 12,
1996 as "Parental Involvement Day" in Stephenville. Accompanying Leschper were
adult volunteers from the Stephenville ISD--Sandy Sookinan, Maritza Spurlock, and
Dr. George Lamb. (Proclamation attached hereto.)
III. ADJOURN
There being no other business to come before the Council at this time, Mayor Pollan
adjourned the meeting at 6 : 46 p.m.
