City of Stephenville - City Council
TUESDAY, JULY 29 1996 - 6:30 P.M.
The City Council of the City of Stephenville, Texas, convened on July 4, 1996, at 6:30 p.m.,
in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 354 N. Belknap Street, for the purpose of a Citizens General
Discussion Meeting, with the meeting being open to the public and notice of said meeting, giving the
date, time, place and subject thereof, having been posted as prescribed by Chapter 551, Government
Code, Vernon's Texas Codes Annotated, with the following members present, to wit:

Mayor Pollan called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. and declared a quorum present.
He CITIZENS GENERAL DISCUSSION
Jane Pratt, 1160 Pecan, Stephenville, Texas, spoke to the Council regarding the
recent notice sent to Northland Cable customers advising them of a rate increase for
cable service. She stated that the basic service rate was going up 5 3.8 5 percent from
$9.10 to $14.00. She asked that the Council review Northland Cable's franchise.
M. ADJOURN
There being no other business to come before the Council at this time, Mayor
Lohrmann adjourned the meeting at 6:3 5 p.m.
