Parks & Recreation Master Plan
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STEPHENVILLE
ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO SECTION SEVEN PROJECT PRIORITIES TABLE
7.1 AND 7.2 OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION MASTER PLAN WHICH SHALL
GUIDE THE ACQUISITION AND DEVELOPMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION
FACILITIES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Stephenville amends Section Seven Tables 7.1
and 7.2 of the Parks and Recreation Master Plan to identify the priorities in more detail, but the new
priorities accomplish or implement the same goals and objectives; and
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Stephenville recognizes that priority number
one in the original table was accomplished in 1996; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Stephenville recognizes the need exists to
combine Table 7.1 and 7.2 to satisfy the scoring criteria for grant application as established by the
Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVIED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF STEPHENVILLE, TEXAS:
THATthe City Council of the City of Stephenville has received the amendments to Section
Seven Table 7.1 and 7.2 to the 1996 Parks and Recreation Master Plan recommended by the City
Staff and the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board; and
THAT the City Council of the City of Stephenville has hereby evaluated and studied said
amendments to Section Seven Table 7.1 and 7.2 of the 1996 Parks and Recreation Master Plan; and
THATthe City Council of the City of Stephenville hereby adopts the amendments to Section
Seven Table 7.1 and 7.2 of the 19896 Master Parks and Recreation Plan as a guide for the acquisition
and development of parks and recreation facilities.
APPROVEDand ADOPTED by the City Counc' of the City of Stephenville, Texas, this
