AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING CLASSIFICATION OF POLICE OFFICERS
OF THE CITY OF STEPHENVILLE AS PROVIDED BY THE CIVIL SERVICE
COMMISSION OF THE CITY AS SUBMITTED TO THE CITY COUNCIL AND
APPROVED AT MEETING OF OCTOBER 3, 19890
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
STEPHENVILLE:
Section One
The Civil Service Commission of the City having provided
for the classification of police officers of the City as
required by Article 143.021 of the Local Government Code of
the State of Texas and submitted same in writing at meeting
of the City Council of October 3, 1989, which classification
was approved at such meeting.
Section Two
The classification and number of positions in each
classification as provided by the Civil Service Commission
and previously approved by the City Council is as follows:

Lieutenants 3
The above classifications and the number of positions in
each classification as hereinabove set out are hereby
established in compliance with Article 143.021 of the Local
Government Code of the State of Texas and are effective as of
October 3, 1989.
PASSED and APPROVED this 19th day of October, 1989.
