AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING A PORTION OF SLOAN STREET BETWEEN HARBIN DRIVE TO SAINT FELIX
STREET IN THE CITY OF STEPHENVILLE, TEXAS, ALONG WITH A MAP SHOWING THE LOCATION OF THE
STREET TO BE ABANDONED
WHEREAS, on February 1, 2022, the Stephenville City Council initiated the abandonment of the
portion of Sloan Steet between Harbin Drive and Saint Felix Street, in the City of Stephenville; and
WHEREAS, on March 16, 2021, the Stephenville Planning and Zoning Commission voted to make
a positive recommendation to the Stephenville City Council for the abandonment of same.
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STEPHENVILLE,TEXAS:
That the portion of Sloan Street,as described above and depicted in Exhibit"A",which is attached
to this order and made a part hereof, is hereby abandoned as a public street.
