Council Work Session and Special Council Meeting

The City Council of the City of Stephenville, Texas, convened via teleconference on Thursday, July 2, 2020, at
5:30 PM for the purpose of a Council Work Session and Special City Council Meeting, with the date, time,
place and subject thereof, having been posted as prescribed by Chapter 551, Government Code, Vernon's
Texas Codes Annotated, with the following members present, to wit:

I. CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION
Call to Order
Mayor Svien called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
Discuss Possible Amendments to the Declaration of Public Health Emergency Adopted
by the Stephenville City Council and Other Matters Related Thereto
Council met to discuss possible amendments to the city's current Declaration. Prior to the
meeting, Governor Abbott passed GA-29 which mandated face coverings in public. In
light of Governor Abbott's Executive Order, the council determined that the city's
Declaration should not be amended.
3. Adjourn
The meeting was adjourned at 6:00 p.m.
II. Special City Council Meeting
The Special City Council Meeting was not called to order as no action was deemed necessary.
