— AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION FOR PROPERTY IN THE NEW
EXTRATERRITORIAL JURISDICTION DUE TO THE ANNEXATION OF 3.34 ACRES OF THE WILLIAMS
SURVEY,A0804, OF THE CITY OF STEPHENVILLE.
WHEREAS, on December 30, 2019 the City of Stephenville received a petition for voluntary
annexation for 3.34 acres of the Williams Survey, A0804;
WHEREAS, on February 4, 2020, the Stephenville City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2020-0-07
legally annexing said property into the City of Stephenville,Texas; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Stephenville wishes to establish the zoning
classification for the property within the newly formed boundaries of the extraterritorial jurisdiction
created by said annexation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STEPHENVILLE,
TEXAS:
Section 1.
That the property within the new boundaries of the extraterritorial jurisdiction resulting from a
voluntary annexation of 3.34 acres of the Williams Survey, A0804, is hereby zoned as Industrial (I).
Section 2.
This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 5th day of May, 2020.
