Emergency City Council Meeting
Friday, March 27, 2020 at 8:00 AM
The City Council of the City of Stephenville, Texas, convened on Friday, March 27, 2020, at 8:00 AM, in the
Council Chambers at City Hall, 298 West Washington Street, for the purpose of an Emergency City Council
Meeting, with notice of said meeting, giving the date, time, place and subject thereof, having been posted as
prescribed by Chapter 551, Government Code, Vernon's Texas Codes Annotated, with the following
members present, to wit:

I. Call to Order
Mayor Svien called the meeting to order at 8:01 a.m.
II. Consider Approval of an Amendment to the Declaration of Public Health Emergency Adopted on
March 25, 2020 and Other Matters Related Thereto
MOTION by Ricky Thurman, second by Mark McClinton, to remove Section 5. MOTION CARRIED
by unanimous vote.
MOTION by Mark McClinton, second by Brandon Huckabee, to amend Section 1.3(f) by the
addition of the words "Convenience Store." MOTION CARRIED by unanimous vote.
III. Adjourn
Mayor Svien adjourned the meeting at 8:12 a.m.
