Mr. Conrad Callicoatte appeared before the City Council and advised that this project consists of the construction of an outfall sewer line for an existing sewage lift station in the southwest part of the city. The line will follow an unnamed creek, essentially southeast to the side of the existing sewage treatment plant. The sewage treatment plant is under a grant now to be enlarged to accept additional sewage from the city. The estimated cost for this line is $361, 404.00. We are applying for an amendment to our EPA grant so this can be funded. Seventy -five percent (75 %) of this amount would be funded by the federal government, if it is approved. This public hearing is to discuss the construction of this line. Mayor Cummings opend the floor for questions. There being no response, the public hearing was closed.
