BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH CITY OF STEPHENVILLE:
Section 1
The City Council of the City of Stephenville shall re-
voke and cancel the plumbing license of any holder thereof
who shall violate or refuse to comply with any of the pro-
visions of Chapter 9 of Revised Ordinances of the City of
Stephenville relating to plumbing and sanitation and such
holder shall net thereafter Ve permitted to do any plusbin
of any nature within said City.
Section 2
Upon the violation of any provision of said Chapter 9
by the holder of any plumbing license, the inspector of
plumbing shall in writing notify the City Secretary that said
holder has so violated said provisions. The City Secretary
shall then give notice to said holder to appear in person
before the
City Council
at its
next regular
meeting and show
a `
cause why
the plumbing
license
or licenses
of said 'holder
should not be revoked and cancelled by the City Council.
At the next regular meeting of the City Council, the matter
shall be presented to such body and said license holder shall
be heard if he wishes to be. The City Council shall then
take such action to revoke and cancel said license or licenses
as it sees fit.
Section 3
The City engineer and superintendent of the City water-
MON
works system is hereby designated as the official inspector
of plumbing for the City of Stephenville. This ordinance
having been put to a vote at the meeting of the City Council
of the City of Stephenville held on the % day of
1943, same was duly passed.
