COUNTY OF ERATH:
CITY OF STEPHENVILLE:
On this the 2nd day of I,Iarch, A. D., 1943, the City Council
of the City of Stephenville, Erath County, Texas, convened in
regular session at the C ity Hall in Stephenville, Texas, same
being the regular meeting place thereof, with the following mem-
bers present, to -wit:
P,4ayor J. 13. Clements, Aldermen Dan Lane, Reecie Jones, T. R. MooVe,

C. E. 1+Iartin, Fred i;ieCleskey, Leonard Fenner and C. A. McDonald. 'II
Among other business had by the City Council was the £ollowixg:
It was moved by Alderman Fred McCleskey , seconded by
Alderman Reecie Jones , that an e ec o- e ordered held on
the first Tuesday n Apr , 1943, (same being the 6th day of
April, 1943) for the purpose of electing four Aldermen to serve
a term of two years each, as follows: One Alderman in 1'+ard No. 1
One Alderman in 'Ward No. 2; One Alderman in Ward No. 3; and One
Alderman in '4ard No. 4.
Said election to be held in the manner and form as prescrib
by the laws of the State of Texas. Vote on the above motion was
called for and carried by unanimous vote.
There being no further business to come before the Council,
motion was made and duly seconded to adjourn in an adjourned
regular meeting, subject to the Mayor's call.

Reecie Jones , that a special e ec on be ordered held

No. 4, to serve an unexpired term of one year.
