AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4 OF THE ORDINANCE PASSED ON
JUNE 4, 19359 RECORDED IN BOOK D AT PAGE 261 OF THE MINUTES OF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF STEPHENVILLE, TEXAS, AND PROVIDING THAT THE
TAX COLLECTOR SHALL MAKE AND DELIVER ON OR BEFORE JULY lat OF
EACH YEAR A DELINQUENT TAX ROLL, SPECIFYING WHAT SAID ROLL SHALL :I
REFLECT, PROVIDING FOR COLLECTION OF ONE DOLLAR ($1.00) AS COSTS
FOR PREPARING SUCH DELINQUENT TAX ROLL FROM EACH PERSON PAYING
DELINQUENT TAXES AND PROVIDING FOR THE COLLECTION BY THE TAX j
COLLECTOR OF FIFTY CENTS ($0.50) FOR EACH TAX CERTIFICATE PREPARMi
WHICH AMOUNTS SHALL BE PAID OVER INTO THE CITY TREASURY ALONG WITH
DELINQUENT TAXES COLLECTED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STEPHEN-
VILLE:
That Section 4 of the ordinance passed on June 4, 1935, re-
corded in Book D, at page 261, of the Minutes of the City Council:'
of Stephenville, Texas, be and the same is hereby amended to read
as follows:
The Tax Collector of the City of Stephenville shall make and
deliver to the City Council of the City of Stephenville on or be-
fore July 1st of each year, a delinquent tax roll, showing the
names of all delinquent tax payers on the tax rolls of said Gity,
the property taxed and the amount of the tax, penalty and interest'
due by each tax payer. When such delinquent taxes are paid, the
.;Collector shall collect from each delinquent the sum of ONE
DOLLAR ($1.00) as costs for each yearts delinquent tax, which
shall be paid into the City Treasury along with the taxes, penal
ties and interest collected. The Tax Collector of the City of
Stephenville shall charge and collect the sum of FIFTY CENTS
