Special City Council Meeting
Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 5:30 PM
The City Council of the City of Stephenville, Texas, convened on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at 5:30 PM, in the
Council Chambers at City Hall, 298 West Washington Street, for the purpose of a Special Council Meeting,
with the meeting being open to the public and notice of said meeting, giving the date, time, place and
subject thereof, having been posted as prescribed by Chapter 551, Government Code, Vernon's Texas Codes
Annotated, with the following members present, to wit:

Council Member Brady Pendleton
Council Member Rhett Harrison
Council Member Alan Nix
Council Member Sherry Zachery

I. Call to Order
The special meeting was called to order at 9:07 p.m.
II. Eastside Sewer Project
1. Consider Approval of Resolution No. 2018-R-05 Providing Notice of Intent to Issue
Certificates of Obligation
Mayor Weldon tabled this item for further discussion on April 24, 2018.
2. Consider Approval of Initiation of the Environmental Review Process for the Eastside
Sewer Project
Mayor Weldon tabled this item for further discussion on April 24, 2018.
3. Consider Approval of Initiation of the Easement Acquisition Process for the Eastside
Sewer Project
Mayor Weldon tabled this item for further discussion on April 24, 2018.
III. Hotel Occupancy Tax Expenditures
1. Consider Approval of Use of HOT Funds for Texstar Ford Summer Concert Series

MOTION by Doug Svien, second by Mark McClinton, to approve an expenditure in the
amount of $9,345 from the Hotel Occupancy Tax Fund for advertising for the Texstar Ford
Summer Concert Series.
MOTION CARRIED by unanimous vote.
IV. Water and Wastewater Rates
Consider Approval of Ordinance No. 2018-0-17 Approving the Water and Wastewater
Rate Increases
MOTION by Doug Svien, second by Brady Pendleton, to approve Ordinance No. 2018-0-17
approving water and wastewater rate increases.
MOTION CARRIED by unanimous vote.
V. Adjourn
The meeting was adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
