The City Council met in a called meeting on the above date with Mayor Cook
presiding and the following Councilman present:
Hubert Darby, Mrs. Fred McCleskey, E. Lee Orbison, Charles Riggins,
Bill Christian, W. H. Stem, and Mrs. Doyle White.
Mayor Cook reported that there was one bid received after 5:00 P. M. due to
a misunderstanding in the deadline for submitting bids.
It was moved by Councilman Swain, seconded by Councilman Christian to accept the
bid as a valid bid. Motion carried unanimously.
Mr. Homer Hunter read the bids as follows:
