The City Council met in called meeting on the above date with Mayor Cook presid-
ing and the following councilmen presents Hubert Darby, Mrs. Fred McCleskey, E. Lee
Orbison, Chas. Riggins, Roy Swain, W. H. Stem and Mrs. Doyle White.
The Mayor stated the purpose of the meetirx� was to hear a report of the Law &
Order Committee. 0
Councilman Riggins reported the Law & Order Committee had met and unanimously
recommended that the City Judge be relieved of his duties immediately and he be paid
two weeks salary.
After discussion, it was moved by Councilman Riggins, seconded by Councilman
Orbison, that the City Judge be relieved of his duties immediately and he be paid
two weeks salary. Motion carried.
Upon motion and second, the Council stood adjourned subject to the Mayorfs
call.
