The City Council met in a called meeting on the above date with Mayor Skipper
presiding and the following council members present: Don Metsgar, Garland Louder-
milk, W. M. Irwin, Jack Curtis, and Mrs. Fred McCleskey.
Mayor read a letter of resignation from City Judge M. Shannon.
It was moved by Councilman Metsgar, seconded by Councilman Loudermilk, to accept th=_
resignation of M. Shannon. Mr. Shannon to be written a letter expressing I
appreciation for his outstanding service while City Judge. Motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Councilman Curtis, seconded by Councilman Metsgar, that "i. Cl-innon ,J
be appointed 11onA69* ! City Judge. Motion carried.
It was moved by Councilman Loudermilk, seconded by Councilwoman McCleskey that Rex
H. Cates by appointed Assistant City Judge for a period of one year, subject to further
action of the City Council. Motion carried unanimously. qF
It was moved by Councilman Loudermilk, seconded by Councilman Metsgar, that the Sub- x
division Ordinance be ammended to read "Easements shall be provided and shall be
16 feet in width." Motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Councilman Loudermilk, seconded by Councilman Metsgar, that Mr. Seth
Moore be written a letter with following recommendations concerning South Tanglewood 7�
Addition:
1. That 16 foot open easements be provided.
2. Building lines on corner lots be 30 feet.
3. Provide an 8 foot outside easement instead of 7.5 feet as shown on plat as
presented to the council.
4. Should take immediate steps to annex the property to the City.
Motion carried unanimously.
The Plat of West Dale was rejected in its present form. The following recommendations
were made:
1. The street running west out of South Tanglewood Addition will have to continue
in a straight line in West Dale Additon. with
2. Complete drainage plans will have to be prepared and approved itk final plat
3. A large tin horn to be placed at intersection of Brenda St. and Rowland, or
submit plans and recommendations if there is objection to a tin horn.
4. 16 foot open easements.
5. Building lines of 30 feet on each side of all corner lots.
6. Assurance that dam on your property and Wolfe property will be removed in its
entirety.
There being no other business at this time the council stood adjourned, subject to
the Mayor's call.
