February 22, 1971
The City Council met in a called meeting on the above date with Mayor Skipper presiding
and the following council members present: Don Metsgar, Garland Loudermilk, Doug Smithey,
Toby Stone, and Mrs. Fred McCleskey.
Mayor reported that City Judge has suffered a heart attack and may not be able to teturn
to work. There is a need to fill this position.
Councilman Metsgar reported that Mr. 0. V. King would serve as city judge on a temporary
basis.
It was moved by Councilman Stone seconded by Councilman Loudermilk to appoint 0. V. King
as City Judge on a temporary basis. Motion carried unanimously.
It was moved by Councilman Loudermilk seconded by Councilman Smithey to approve the plat X
and dedication of West Bluebonnet street. Motion carried unanimously.
The final plats of the South Tanglewood and South Dale Additions were presented.
T}hk- Council discussed these plats and a committee of Councilmen Loudermilk, Stone and Metsgar
were assigned to check the drainage, proposed utilities and report back to the council.
There being no other business at this time the council stood adjourned, subject to the Mayor's
call.
