The City Council of the City of Stephenville'. Texas, met in i!
.regular session on May 5th, 1942, with Mayor J. W. Clements pre-
siding,•and the following aldermen•preaent: T. R. Moore, Fred
McCloskey, Leonard Fenner, Dan Lane, Bras Cole,•C. E. Martin,
Reecie Jones, and C. A. McDonald.
Minutes of previous meetings were read.and approved.

Defense Guard $25.00 per month,
carried.

After discussion, it was moved.
Martin, that the City grant the
beginning May 1, 1942. Motion
Bills and accounts were read and on.motion by C. A. McDonald$
seconded.by Fred McCloskey, were allowed and ordered paid.
There being no further business, the Council stood adjourned;'.
in an adjourned regular meeting, subject to the Mayorts call.
