There being no further business at this time, the Council
stoca adjourned in an adjourned regular meeting, subject to the
call of the Uayor.

January 6, 1942.
The City Council of the City of Stephenville, Texas, met in
regular meeting on January 6, 1942, with Mayor J. W. Clements,
presiding, and the following aldermen present: Dan Lane, Fred Me-
Cleskey, Dan Goodgame, Chas. Neblett Jr., L. Riggins, Doyle White,;
and C. A. McDonald.
Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved.
It was moved by Chas. Neblett Jr, seconded by Fred McCleske',
i .that Jim Johnson be paid a salary of 15.00 per week, and that thq
City pay .30¢ per hour for all common labor, both effective this
week. Motion carried.
It was moved by Dan Lane, seconded by C. A. McDonald, that
0. B. Sageser's salary be raised to $90.00 per month, effective
January 1, 1942. Motion carried.
It was moved by Fred McCleskey, seconded by C. A. McDonald,
that Jack Smith's Plumber Bond be accepted and approved. Motion
carried.
Bills and accounts were read and on motion by Fred McCleakey,
seconded by D. A. McDonald, were allowed and ordered paid. There
being no other business at this date, the Council stood adjourned
in an adjoured regular meeting, subject to the Mayor's call.
