HomeMy WebLinkAbout1992-O-19 - Amend Zoning OrdinanceORDINANCE NO. 1992-19 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS VIII-II-A AND XIV; IX -II -A AND XIV; XI -II -A AND XIV; XII-II-A AND XIV OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF STEPHENVILLE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF STEPHENVILLE: SECTION ONE That the B-1 "Neighborhood Business District" Section VIII-II-A of the City of Stephenville Zoning Ordinance be amended by adding the classification of "Accessory Building to Main Use" as a Primary Use. SECTION TWO That the B-2 "Secondary and Highway Business District" Section IX - II -A of the City of Stephenville Zoning Ordinance be amended by adding the classification of "Accessory Building to Main Use" as a Primary Use. SECTION THREE That the B-4 "Private Club District" Section XI -II -A of the City of Stephenville Zoning Ordinance be amended by adding the classification of "Accessory Building to Main Use" as a Primary Use. SECTION FOUR That the I "Industrial District" Section XII-II-A of the City of Stephenville Zoning Ordinance be amended by adding the classification of "Accessory Building to Main Use" as a Primary Use. SECTION FIVE That Sections VIII-XIV, IX-XIV, XI-XIV, and XII-XIV of the City of Stephenville Zoning Ordinance be amended by adding: ACCESSORY BUILDINGS: A. No accessory building shall be constructed upon a lot until the construction of the main use building has been actually commenced. No accessory building shall be used unless the main use building on the lot is also being used. B. An accessory building may be constructed, not exceeding four hundred (400) square feet in floor area, when located on the same lot as the main use building. C. An accessory building shall be a minimum of twelve (12') feet ^ from the main use building. No accessory building shall be ( more than one (1) story in height. D. An accessory building cannot be located closer than five (5') feet from any easement or property line and must be located to the rear of the main use building. E. An accessory building may not be located on any driveway, loading area, parking space, front entrance of existing buildings, or visually blocking the front entrance of any adjacent structure.
