September 9, 1940.
The City Council of the City of Stephenville met in an adjo
nod regular meeting on the above date, with Mayor Clements and thO
following aldermen present: Chas. Neblett Jr., H. D. Barham, L. ii
Riggins, Fred McCloskey, T. T. Oliver, K. D. Hamilton and Jack
Henderson.
Mayor Clements stated that the purpose of the meeting was to
hear Mr. Freeze discuss the construction of a water softener and
additional water supply.
After hearing Mr. Freeze, the matter of renting the ware-
house at the City Park was brought before the Council: It was
moved by Fred McCloskey, seconded by H. D. Barham, that the Mayor
be authorized to rent the old pavilion at the Park to the $en-
s� �M ion wes. lest.
There being no other business at this date, the Council
stood adjourned in an adjourned regular meeting subject to the
Mayor's call.
